I had the best time! I'm hoping to book another trip with Margo in the future — and next time, bring my husband!

I booked the Immersion tour to Ioannina last week. Partly Greek lessons, beautiful trips in the area and a lot of Greek conversation. It was a good and various program, interesting for all of us. The Greek lesson was mainly conversation and some grammar and vocabulary. There could be more time foreseen for the preparation of the Greek lessons in the morning. It helps people to get the most out of it. Hélène

I really enjoyed joining the immersive trip to Kalamata organized by Margo Wine Routes. Both hotel accommodation and daily activities (dance class, cooking class, museum and monument visits) were flawlessly organized and Greek classes were useful and enjoyable. This is definitely an experience I would recommend to Greece lovers and Greek language learners

I took part in an “immersion trip” in Kalamata for 5 days in September. It was a language course in which only Greek was spoken. We were 9 people learning Greek, two language teachers Yiuli and Giannis and Ourania from Margo wine routes. The learners came from America, Great Britain, France, Spain, Italy and Germany. Everything was organized by Ourania. We went on many excursions, visited great restaurants, looked at traditional crafts, visited museums, experienced olive oil tasting and cooked together. There was also an evening where we learned Kalamatianos, a folk dance. There was still enough time to swim and meet in the evening. We had a Greek language course twice a day with Yiuli and Giannis. The trip was perfectly organized. The program was unique and the fun in the group made everything even better. Our three organizers were super nice and extremely competent. It couldn't have been nicer. And Kalamata is of course a dream destination in Greece. The program also included us getting to know each other in person via Zoom on four evenings before the trip. In this way, your fellow travelers were already familiar with you.

Ourania is passionate about her beloved country Greece and will take every step necessary to ensure each and every one of her clients enjoys everything Greece, its culture, music and its beauty has to offer. Ourania went above and beyond to make sure we had memories to last a lifetime. She is very knowledgeable and takes into account everyone’s needs. Words cannot express how grateful I am to have met Ourania and explore Greece with her. Ευχαριστώ Ourania!

Ourania arranged and led our Athens + Peloponnese Peninsula tour of ancient sites, museums, wineries, and interesting smaller towns. She booked the hotels, travel, and restaurants. Her knowledge of the different sites (Panhellic game, Epidauros, etc) and her connections to the wineries greatly enhanced our enjoyment of these stops. Every hotel and restaurant selection was faultless - indeed we hurt ourselves until we learned to limit the portion sizes... Ourania shared many interesting insights of Greek history and current culture as we drove between the stops. She was consistently considerate and daily checked in with each tour member to ensure the rare issues were resolved in a timely fashion. The logistics were carried out flawlessly but flexibly to accommodate our particular group's needs. In addition to making this an amazing experience, Ourania herself was very enjoyable to spend time with. Before the trip was over we were all discussing what trip we might take next with her.

Margo Wine Routes was a provider for our study abroad program to Greece. I took students to a few study abroad trips in the past. They were all good, but without a doubt, this one was THE BEST - in terms of the organization, the variety of the experiences, the cost, and most importantly, the care that the students received. Ourania treated our group as if we were her personal guests. Although the focus of our program was on wine tourism, the itinerary was remarkably diverse. In addition to wineries (which were carefully selected so that we can taste different indigenous varieties), we also visited an olive oil mill, an archeological museum, a monastery (with a winery), a traditional musical instruments shop, the oldest wine press, and numerous traditional tavernas and bakeries. A cooking class, a pottery class, and folk dancing were the students' favorites! It's hard to believe how much we were able to see in just 10 days. It was truly a life-changing experience for my students, and I am immensely grateful to Ourania for this.

All itineraries that Margo Wine Routes creates are custom and are based on the curriculum of each program and/or on customer needs. I would recommend Margo Wine Routes to anyone who wants to experience AUTHENTIC GREECE.
